CU Shah University was established in 2013 and has its headquarters in Gujarat. It is run by Vardhman Bharti Trust and named after Chimanlal Ujamshibhai Shah. It had been created by the state of Gujarat under the Private University Amendment Bill in 2013. The university, spread over a 61-acre campus, is located in Wadhwan. The University aims for a clear understanding of small scale industry to medium scale industry upper-medium and large scale entrepreneurship for the growth and development of the students and staff.

Accreditation and Ranking

The CU University is recognized by all statutory as well as regulatory bodies such as UGC, AICTE, PCI, BCI, MHRD, NCTE, INC, DET and the Government of Gujarat. The University is also part of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The University is administered by the Vardhman Bharti Trust. It is named in honour of Chimanlal Ujamshibhai (C U Shah).
